Forever in our Hearts

CERVESA:

Cervesa
1997 - 2004

Cervesa came into my life during a Christmas trip to the mall. Found in the Dilliard's parking garage at Governor's Sq Mall as a small malnourished and flea infested kitten, she barely made it through her first night home. Cervesa became healthier and soon blossomed into a wonderful loving and affectionate cat. Four years later I brought home a newly adopted calico kitten (above) with similar markings to keep Cervesa company during the day while I was at work. Cervesa and Sophie had a rocky first week but became fast friends and loved each other very much. Sadly Cervesa was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer in April 2004 and was aided in her departure when the need to end her suffering outweighed my desire for her sweet company. Sophie and I will always miss Cervesa and the joy she added to our family.

Over time in her memory three more homeless cats have been adopted into the family.
